In November of 2023, I started working as a full-time Graphic Designer at The UPS Store in Hales Corners. This job offered printing experience as well as experience in retail and marketing. I designed logos and branding for customers, including business cards, banners, and seasonal promotions like graduation cards or wedding invites. I gained more experience with designing, formatting, printing, and cutting posters, flyers, brochures, business cards, banners, and other custom prints.
I practiced marketing skills by promoting store deals and printed brochures to hand out, while also pitching the custom designs that we were able to complete at our store. I also gained retail experience with completing shipping and returning processes for customers.
Logo Design

While working at The UPS Store in Hales Corners, one of my first projects was to create a logo, 500 printed business cards, and a letterhead for Michael R. Moulton.
This project was one of my favorites because I was able to start from scratch with Michael. When creating this logo and basic brand identities, we talked about what he wants people to think when they see his company's logo. The goal was to come up with something that was professional and clean.
What I love about this logo is that we originally had a combination of blues, but then switched to purples because that is his daughter's favorite color. Overall, this project was a very valuable experience for me, and I am proud to have created a branded logo for Mr. Moulton's company, CFO Defined.
First Drafts
I had two logo ideas that I presented to Michael. One having the letters "CFO" as the logo, and another with Michael's initials as the logo mark.

Final Drafts
After choosing a direction and changing the color pallet, I gave Mr. Moulton a simple brand guideline, his new logo, a letterhead, and 500 business cards.
